Royal Titbits #10

Countess Charlotte d'Udekem d'Acoz (24) is engaged to Nicolas Nève de Mévergnies. Charlotte is the daughter of Mathilde's first cousin (and head of the family) Count Bernard d'Udekem d'Acoz & Marie-Pierre Verhaegen. She was born in 2001, just like Princess Elisabeth. 

Charlotte has a master's degree in law from KU Leuven. She works at De Smet lawfirm in Uccle, Brussels. 

Nicolas holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique de Louvain and a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from ECAM. He's working as a Junior Software Developer at Ariane Project, a Belgian firm that provides digital support for real estate dealers. 

A bit of news from Prince Emmanuel's DJ'ing hobby Vyntrix.

Mathilde's lady-in-waiting Melissa Maas-Van Waeyenberge was present at a fundraiser for the Royal Museums for Fine Arts in Brussels last summer. Here she's with Thierry Goffin, founder of Fahrenheit Immobilière, and her husband Frank Maas.

In a social media post Nicolas Janssen celebrated 17 years together with Hélène d'Udekem, his wife (and Mathilde's younger sister). In November she'll be back on stage with a new play, "C'est rien, ça va passer".
