Women at the Peace Table

At the Royal Palace Queen Mathilde had a meeting with:

- Baroness Jennie Vanlerberghe, women's rights activist and founder of the Belgian branch of Women for Peace.
- Dr Sima Samar, former Afghan Minister and member of the UN High-Level Panel on Internal Displacement.
- Annie Matundu Mbabi, chair of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom in Congo.

Together they discussed the challenges female leaders face when it comes to preventing and solving conlicts.

This meeting took place in margins of the Women at the Peace Table Conference that's held in Ypres.
