According to Het Nieuwsblad, prince Gabriel (12) was about to join tennis club GT Tessenderlo to participate in tennis games against other clubs.
For security reasons Gabriel would only participate in home games, and practice on the furthest court to protect his privacy. Unfortunately his alias "Gabriel Le Grand" was leaked. His parents decided to pull him out of the competition.
Gabriel and his siblings have been receiving private tennis classes at home. The Laken estate has outdoor and indoor tennis fields.
