Queen Mathilde attended a remembrance ceremony for Gabrielle Petit who died 100 years ago. Petit was a Belgian Red Cross volunteer during the First World War. She also worked as a spy for the allied forces, and was executed by the Germans on the Schaerbeek race track.
Patricia Vlerick acted as lady-in-waiting.
