Queen Mathilde attended a remembrance ceremony for Gabrielle Petit, who was executed on the Schaarbeek racetrack 100 years ago.
Patricia Vlerick acted as lady-in-waiting.
Petit was a Belgian Red Cross volunteer during the First World War. She worked as a spy for the allied forces.
The ceremony took place at the Place Saint-Jean in Brussels.
