Enthronement of Grand Duke Guillaume

King Philippe, Queen Mathilde and Crown Princess Elisabeth (23) were in Luxembourg for the abdication of Grand Duke Henri and the enthronement of Grand Duke Guillaume.

Apart from being neighbours, the Belgian and Luxembourg royal families are extremely close.
Grand Duke Henri and King Philippe are first cousins. The new Grand Duchess, née Stéphanie de Lannoy is Belgian. Moreover, the new Grand Duke is godfather to Prince Emmanuel of Belgium.

Henri's siblings were all there: Prince Guillaume & Princess Sibilla, Prince Jean & Diane de Guerre, Princess Margaretha & Prince Nikolaus, Princess Marie-Astrid & Archduke Christian of Austria.

Guillaume's siblings: Prince Sébastien, pregnant Princess Alexandra & Nicolas Bagory, Prince Louis, Prince Félix & Princess Claire.
