From their home at the Castle of Laeken, King Philippe & Queen Mathilde had a video conversation with health care workers and residents of a transitional care centre in Sint-Truiden, a care home where persons who are recovering from corona are staying before going back to their own homes.
A few days earlier Princess Eléonore, who's just turned twelve, was on the phone with some of the elderly residents of Antwerp care home "Gulden Lelie". They hadn't had visitors for over 6 weeks because of the lockdown Belgium's under and were delighted to hear from the Princess.
