Eco Measures for the Castle of Laeken
Starting next winter, the palace and greenhouses of Laeken will no longer be heated by petrol.
80% of the heating will be waste heat from the nearby incinerator of Neder-over-Heembeek. It's a first major step in the ecological maintenance of queen Mathilde's official residence.
