  1. So nice to see the Belgium King and Queen to visit Germany, sine their Royal house started with the Saxe Coburg and Gotha. Also nice to see Prince Andreas and the Hereditary Prince couple Hubertus and Kelly present. Also nice of them to visit the Camp Buchenwald, we shall never forget. Hope every one has a pleasant visit there.

  2. Belgian State visit to Germany. This will be a couple of busy day's for them. Also nice to see the Head and the Hereditary Prince couple Andrea, Hubertus and Kelly of S C G, there to Welcome them. The Royals also visited Buchenwald C Camp. A darker part of History,we shall never forget.

  3. What no Gala Dinner?. I like to see TM and Prince and Pss. Of Saxe Coburg Gotha, in nice Gowns. Maybe Pss Stephanie and husband Jan will be there too.

    1. I'd love to see that too, but not on the program unfortunately!

    2. P.S. They were photographed leaving the hotel for the dinner and the green evening pants which were debuted at the Queen Elisabeth competition made their comeback.

  4. The evening reception was rather low key, I found three pictures, nothing really exciting alas.
According to this article Prince Michael of Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach and his wife were among the 40 guests.

  5. This is the most low key State visit I seen the Belgian Royals ever had.Day 2 I like Q Mathilde's dress it suits her very nice. Both make a very handsome couple. Isabelle, thank you ,I will look at the pic's you will add.

    1. It wasn't a state visit, it was an official visit. They visited 2 German regions (Lander), not the German state. So I guess that explains the difference in style.

  6. Thank you Isabelle for the extra pics.Yes you are right official visit is more low key then a state visit, maybe the next one, is a lavish affair.? when ever that will be. Have a nice day.

    1. The next state visit on the calender is in the second half of the year, to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. A family affair! :-)
