What's Next for the Young Royals?

In little over a week we'll be celebrating Belgium's National Day which means we'll be seeing all members of the Royal Family again. From 22 July onwards their summer holidays will officially start. 

Come September Princess Eléonore (17) will start her final year of secondary school at the International School of Brussels.

Prince Emmanuel (19) has had a gap year filled with 10 months of sports at the MIFRA football academy in Zaragoza, Spain and he's been working on his hobby DJ project Vyntrix. In a couple of weeks we'll no doubt hear what he plans to do next. 

Prince Gabriel (21) has finished his 3 year bachelor's degree at the Royal Military Academy in Brussels. He now holds the rank of Second Lieutenant. The official graduation ceremony will take place on 28 August 2025. What's next for Gabriel? He's made it clear that geopolitics is where his heart lies.

Finally Crown Princess Elisabeth (23) has successfully completed the first of two years in her Master's in Public Policy at Harvard. However it still isn't sure whether she'll be able to return to study at Harvard after President Trump's antics. The King & Queen have confirmed to journalists that Elisabeth won't be using any special treatment linked to her diplomatic status. She'll be doing to same as other Belgian students at Harvard.
