Back at work after the holidays!
At 20:30 King Philippe & Queen Mathilde attended the opening concert of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, at Bozar in Brussels.
Among the performing artists were violinist Lorenzo Gatto, pianist Jef Neve and singers Selah Sue and Charlotte Adigéry.
The presidency of the Council rotates among the EU member states every six months. This one lasts from 1 January to 30 June 2024.
Regarding the new lady in waiting: it must be Véronique de Limburg Stirum. She already accompanied Mathilde during the state visit to Germany.
