King Philippe & Queen Mathilde visited the exhibition "Rose, Rose, Rose à mes yeux. James Ensor and still life in Belgium from 1830 to 1930" at Muzee in Ostend.
During the official opening the Royal Couple was given a tour of the first exhibition ever that focuses on Ensor's stil lifes.
The exhibition marks the start of many celebrations to come in 2024, commemorating the famous painter 75 years after his death in 1949.

In the evening the couple and their youngest son Emmanuel (18) were in Antwerp where they went to see the hit musical "Les Misérables" at the Stadsschouwburg. This was a private visit. None the less, as usual they took the time to meet the cast and crew after the performance.
