Exactly 100 years after the end of the First World War, King Philippe & Queen Mathilde attended a remembrance ceremony at the monument for the Unknown Warrior in Brussels.
Baroness Patricia Vlerick acted as Mathilde's lady-in-waiting.
In the afternoon the Royal Couple, Princess Astrid & Prince Lorenz attended a WWI remembrance concert at Bozar in Brussels.
About 10.000 people had gathered in Ypres to commemorate this day and to honour millions of soldiers from all countries and Belgian civilians, victims of the First World War.
This time Clotilde Boël was present as the Queen's lady-in-waiting.
