Today Queen Mathilde visited the children's psychiatric ward of the UZ Leuven hospital, accompanied by child psychiatrist Peter Adriaenssens. This visit wasn't announced beforehand and no press was invited.
Mathilde's working visit allowed her to talk to mental health professionals, therapists, children suffering from chronic or acute mental illness, and their parents.
