As SDG Advocate, queen Mathilde had a work lunch with various representatives of the European Institutions to be informed about the EU's implementation of the UN's Social Development Goals.
The luncheon took place at the Brussels residence of the Belgian permanent representative at the EU.
In the afternoon, queen Mathilde visited the UN in Brussels for the "European Development Days".
Before giving a keynote address, the queen talked to UN advisor and Lybian female rights activist, Alaa Murabit.
She also had a private meeting with Winnie Byanyima of Oxfam International.
With her keynote address, queen Mathilde closed the conference.
She visited various stands and talked to development workers.
