Jewels: Tunesian parure

King Boudewijn gave his wife, queen Fabiola, a jewellery set consisting of earrings, a bracelet and a necklace when they travelled through Tunesia.

The jewels contain diamonds, rubies and green cabochon cut gemstones. These green stones could be emeralds, tanzanites, tourmalines or agates.

In 2012 princess Mathilde was first seen wearing these earrings, at the enthronement party of king Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.

In 2015 she wore a matching bracelet during a state visit to Poland.

It does seem to be a different one from Fabiola's.
