Flashback: Salamanca

Crown Prince Philippe & Princess Mathilde flew to Salamanca, Spain to open the exhibition "Flemish Tapestries of the Zamora Cathedral". They were accompanied by Spanish Crown Prince Felipe.

Salamanca was the European Cultural Capital of 2002.

Together they also inaugurated the city's new Arts Center.

Crown Prince Philippe & Princess Mathilde attended a concert by the choir Cantate Domino at the Sint-Martinuschurch of Aalst.

Family Resemblances

Crown Princess Elisabeth and her great grandmother, Queen Astrid. She also clearly has her father Philippe's features.

As a child Prince Emmanuel was the spitting image of his his father Philippe at the same age.

As he grows into adulthood, Emmanuel clearly has the Bavarian features of his great great grandmother Queen Elisabeth and her son, Prince Charles.
