Voorleesweek 2023

Queen Mathilde took part in the Reading Aloud Week by visiting nursery school "Groenendaal" in Merksem, Antwerp.

She read a story to a group of 5-year olds and to the mothers who visit the school to learn and improve their Dutch.

Afterwards there was a round table with experts on the importance of having "reading buddies".

Mathilde is the patron of Iedereen Leest, the organisation behind Voorleesweek.
