Queen Mathilde visited one of the laureates of her Foundation's project call "Music Connects": Blij Leven in Lievegem.
This care institution for young people who have a difficult home situation works with music to empower the children.
Blij Leven also guides 18 year olds without family support on their way to complete independence, a cause close to Mathilde's heart since she chose to support it financially after the government dropped its support.
