Queen Mathilde visited the exhibition "Transcipts of a Sea." by, and with photographer Stefan Vanfleteren at the Museum for Fine Arts in Ghent.

Christmas Concert 2025

The royal family hosted their annual Christmas concert at the Royal Palace.

Prince Gabriel and Prince Emmanuel were absent this year, because of their studies.

Elisabeth was wearing her Rebecca Vallance dress and her Armani clutch with Mathilde's Percossi Papi earrings and diamond bracelet.

Eléonore was wearing a new dress by ba&sh combined with one of Mathilde's clutches.

The concert will be aired by VRT, RTBF, RTL (24/12 at 00:20 & 25/12 at 11:20) and Proximus Showcase.

The preparations were filmed by RTL, with Mathilde who had left her office at the palace to take a sneek peek. She warned the musicians the Throne Room would be very hot when it's filled with people. "Better prepare for it!"

Christmas Visit 2025: Samana

For their annual Christmas visit, King Philippe & Queen Mathilde chose Samana, a Flemish organisation that provides adapted holidays, home visits and support for chronically ill persons and their caretakers. Samana does this with the help of some 25,000 volunteers.

The visit took place in Nieuwpoort, at holiday residence Ter Duinen.
