Queen Mathilde granted an audience to Catherine Russell, the new UNICEF director. She was accompanied by Geert Cappelare who represents UNICEF at the EU and Roland Steisel, President of UNICEF Belgium.
Mathilde is the honorary president of Unicef Belgium.
