Pramila Patten + Young Caregivers

Queen Mathilde had a meeting with UN Special Representative on sexual violence in conflicts, Pramila Patten.

Facilitating peace and ending violence and impunity are an essential part of the SDGs.

And in the evening she hosted a dinner for young caregivers (mantelzorgers/soignants) at the Castle of Laeken. 

King Philippe, who normally takes part in these dinners was prevented. He'd flown to Abu Dhabi (UAE) to present his condolences on the passing of Sheikh Khalifa ben Zayed Al Nahyan, and to meet the new President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed ben Zayed Al Nahyan.
