Dag van de Zorg 2022 + Reception for Paralympians

For Heath Care Day, Queen Mathilde visited De Kindervriend in Rollegem, a school and residential center for mentally impaired children. The center also offers support to the children's families.

Mathilde was supposed to make this visit in 2020, when it got cancelled because of the corona pandemic. Still, two years on, here she is.

A second activity was a reception hosted by King Philippe & Queen Mathilde at the Castle of Laeken, for the paralympic athletes who took part in the Olympics and the Invictus Games earlier this year.
