Elisabeth Spends Time with Young Patients

While her parents are out of the country on a state visit to Chile, Crown Princess Elisabeth (23)  welcomed a few young patients of the "Prinses Elisabeth Kinderziekenhuis" at the royal palace, the children's hospital of Ghent that she opened in 2011.

The crown princess was wearing a Zara dress paired with her mother's Carolina Herrera earrings, Dior handbag and Armani pumps.

On the program were a tour through the palace given by the director of the Royal Collection, a music workshop (the harp!) and finally they had dinner together. 

Elisabeth & the children had tomato soup and sandwiches.

As she was clearly taught by her parents, Elisabeth makes it a point to stay in touch with her patronage and its patients, either behind the scenes or with press present. 

The spokesperson of UZ Gent hospital Karlien Wouters shared that Princess Elisabeth makes more visits to the hospital than the ones that reach the press: "She drops by anonymously, without any cameras around. She's also contributed ideas about the lay-out of the hospital's garden."
