Christmas Visit 2024: Porte Ouverte

King Philippe & Queen Mathilde made a Christmas Visit to women's shelter Porte Ouverte / Open Deur in Brussels.

At Porte Ouverte women from 18 years onwards, with our without children, can find a temporary shelter if they lose access to their home or face other hardship. They receive help on their way to autonomy and a sustainable now home. 

Philippe & Mathilde met with residents and staff, took part in a meeting and shared lunch with those present.
