King Philippe handed out the literary award 'Prijs der Nederlandse Letteren' to Belgian author Tom Lanoye. Queen Mathilde was also present.
During their meeting, Mathilde and Tom Lanoye talked about his book "Sprakeloos" that deals with the author's mother, an amateur actress who suffered from aphasia towards the end of her life. As a former speech therapist, this interested the Queen greatly.
