Queen Mathilde visited the new premises of the Jules Bordet Institute at the Erasme Hospital in Anderlecht, Brussels.
The Jules Bordet Institute is a multidisciplinary center that specializes in cancer treatment. Mathilde was introduced to new therapeutic developments against cancer.
She also visited the nuclear medecine department and the day-care clinic where she met with patients.
