Jewels: Snowflake Earrings

On 19 January 2017, Queen Mathilde wore these diamond and amethyst (?) earrings for the first time in public. Their shape is reminiscent of a snowflake. They may well have been a Christmas gift from her husband - but that's just my guess, of course.
