King Philippe, Queen Mathilde and their children are currently vacationing on the French Ile d'Yeu where they have a holiday home.
Whereas last year the house was still being renovated, the works now seem to have come to an end. Lorries with bathroom furniture were spotted by the house in June.
The modest home will most likely be appreciated for its peace and quiet, on the very natural, sometimes even sleepy island where most tourists take to their bikes in summer.
The house can be reached by a pedestrian/bike road off the main road and has a view of the sea, in a very green and naturally wild area.
On 30 July 2021 a royal decree was signed by Philippe from Ile d'Yeu.
