They combine a medical community center, after-school homework supervision and French language lessons. The non-profit organization wants to enhance social cohesion and the sense of togetherness.

⁣ ⁣ Introduction au travail de l’asbl Joseph Swinnen dans le quartier Gaucheret/Masui à Bruxelles. L’asbl accueille les nouveaux arrivants qui, à travers des cours de Français, acquièrent une meilleure compréhension de notre société. A cette fin, l’asbl combine un centre de santé communautaire, un service d’aides aux devoirs après l’école et des cours de langues en français. L’asbl souhaite ainsi promouvoir un sentiment d’appartenance et d’engagement dans le quartier.⁣ —————⁣ Kennismaking met de werking van vzw Joseph Swinnen in de Gaucheret/Masui wijk te Brussel. De vzw vangt nieuwskomers op die via lessen Frans een beter inzicht krijgen in onze maatschappij. Hiervoor combineren ze een medisch buurthuis, naschoolse huiswerkbegeleiding en taallessen in het Frans.
