Queen Mathilde handed out the Baillet Latour Biomedical Award to Isabel Beets, for her neuroscientific research.
The Baillet-Latour Biomedical Award is awarded annually to a promising young Belgian biomedical researcher. They recieve 1,000,000 euros to invest in research.
