Crown Prince Philippe & Princess Mathilde attended a special performance staged to raise money for leukaemia patients and their families. The event was organised by the Michael Van Waeyenberge Fund, which in turn was supported by the King Baudouin Foundation.
Michael Van Waeyenberge was a student who died in 2001 after a two-year battle with leukaemia. Ten years later, his sister, Melissa Maas Van Waeyenberge became one of Mathilde's ladies-in-waiting.
