Funeral: Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom (1926-2022)

The Royal Couple has traveled to London by train, taking the Eurostar.

🇧🇪 Belgian King Philippe and Queen Mathilde have arrived in London ahead of the funeral of the Queen.

🇬🇧 They were spotted near St. Pancras, where they got off the Eurostar train. Today, they will attend King Charles' reception at Buckingham Palace.

They attended a reception hosted by King Charles III, for all the Heads of State who have traveled to London to attend his late mother's funeral.

Belgian Court shared this picture from Queen Elizabeth II & Prince Philip's 1966 state visit to Belgium. They were onboard the Belgian royal train from Brussels to Bruges in the company of King Baudouin & Queen Fabiola. It was King Baudouin who took the picture.

Around 20:30 King Philippe & Queen Mathilde paid their respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who was laying-in-state at Westminster Abbey.

In Brussels the lateral flags of the Royal Palace are flying half-mast in sign of mourning.

King Philippe & Queen Mathilde attend the state funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, at Westminster Abbey in London.

Afterwards there was a more intimate ceremony at Windsor. Philippe & Mathilde weren't among the guests.

Finally only the members of the late Queen's closest family and friends attended a final private ceremony.
