Interview: Place Royale

On Sunday 2 December 2018, a one-off of the show Place Royale was aired on RTL TVI, dedicated to the French state visit to Belgium.


For the first time, Queen Mathilde gave extensive background information on camera, talking about the historic Belgo-French relations and showing royal souvenirs at the Royal Palace. Belgium's first Queen, Louise, was a daughter of the French King Louis-Philippe.
