King Philippe & Queen Mathilde visited Sint-Amands to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of poet Emile Verhaeren.
Hundreds of people had come to see the Royal Couple.

Philippe & Mathilde visited Verhaeren's grave on the banks of the river Scheldt before being escorted to the Emile Verhaeren Museum where they visited the exhibition "Emile Verhaeren, a European Poet".
