President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey and his wife Emine Erdogan were on a two day state visit to Belgium.
Laurence de Ghellinck accompanied Mrs Erdogan during the entire visit.
They were received in an official ceremony by King Philippe & Queen Mathilde.
Mathilde was accompanied by an interpreter and by her lady-in-waiting, Clotilde Boël.

King Philippe & Queen Mathilde hosted a lunch for the Turkish presidential couple at Laeken castle.
The King, the Queen and all the guests were made to wait for more than 90 minutes by the Turkish President ... A sad record according to Pierre Warnauts, chef du protocole of the royal palace.
In the evening both couples were present at Bozar in Brussels for the opening of the arts festival "Europalia Turkey".
