Queen Mathilde visited the Sint-Lodewijk Institute in Kwatrecht that provides education and care for children with a physical handicap. This visit was centered around Health Care Week.

The visit had been planned before Mathilde had a skiing accident and had to use a wheelchair.
Mathilde had a round table conversation with pupils and teachers, joined them in their sports hall for a game of boccia (petanque for wheelchair users), attended a class and met the entire school on the playground.
Together they made a heart for health care.
