Young Talent in Action

Queen Mathilde visited 'Young Talent in Action' at Bozar in Brussels, an event organized by VBO and YouthStart, one of Mathilde's patronages. It was held at Bozar.

The event wants to encourage young people to develop their talents and use them to find their way to the labour market.

Now that Natan, the only Belgian Haute Couture house is 40 years old, Edouard Vermeulen has given an interview to Thomas de Bergeyck of RTL Radio. They discuss the time Mathilde's wedding dress was made, how the Queen pays for all of her clothes - even when she borrows pieces because she isn't sure about them, and his title of Baron.

The past year Crown Princess Elisabeth has been gracing the cover of magazines such as Paris Match, Story ... more and more often. The start of another aspect of royal life.

Diplomatic Days 2023

Belgian Ambassadors, Consuls General and Permanent Representatives to the international institutions were back in Brussels for the Belgian Diplomatic Days this week. 

Like each year, they were received at the Royal Palace in Brussels by King Philippe & Queen Mathilde for a reception.

Mental Health at Work

Queen Mathilde presided a round table on mental health at work, in collaboration with The Shift.

The meeting took place in Louvain-la-Neuve at the seat of Realco, a biosafety company that respects the SDGs.

Flashback: Treaty of London

13 November 2006

To celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Belgian dynasty and of the Treaty of London that guaranteed Belgium's independence and neutrality, King Albert II & Queen Paola hosted a lunch and concert at the Royal Palace.

Private: Cirque du soleil

On Sunday 22 October 2023, the start of the Autumn Holidays at many Belgian schools, King Philippe & Queen Mathilde took their 3 youngest children Gabriel (20), Emmanuel (18) and Eléonore (15) out for the performance "KURIOS" by Cirque du soleil at the Heizel in Brussels.

After the show the Royal Family met with the artists.
