Private: Elisabeth runs the Cambridge Half Marathon

On Sunday 3 November 2024 Elisabeth (23) took part in the Cambridge half marathon, which she finished in 1:46:05. Elisabeth ran the 21,5 kilometers without any problems, together with a group of friends and her own protection officer who is a Flemish (so Dutch speaking) member of the police force. 

The princess used the name "Elisabeth DSC" which is obviously an abbreviation of Elisabeth de Saxe-Cobourg, the name she's using at Harvard where she's currently studying to obtain a Master's in Public Policy. 

According to Sudpresse, one of Elisabeth's fellow students is an old friend from her schooldays at Sint-Jan Berchmans in Brussels, a young woman named Cecilia.

This was a completely private event. Next time we'll be seeing our Crown Princess will be in the days before Christmas when she returns home for the Holidays.
