Prince Philippe & Princess Mathilde welcomed Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski and his wife Jolanta Kwasniewska at the military airport of Melsbroek, near Brussels. The Polish President and his wife were on a three-day state visit to Belgium.

Fashion Flashback: Eléonore's Dresses

Birth of Eléonore

Crown Prince Philippe took his eldest children, Elisabeth (6), Gabriel (4) and Emmanuel (2,5) to meet their new baby sister Eléonore at the Erasme hospital in Anderlecht on the day she was born.

Eléonore was born at 4:50 in the morning, measuring 50 cm and weighing 3,210 kg. 

Her full name was announced as Eléonore Fabiola Victoria Anne Marie.

Her godparents were also reveiled: Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Princess Claire of Belgium as godmothers and Count Sébastien von Westphalen zu Fürstenberg as godfather. Which makes Eléonore the only one of Philippe & Mathilde's children with more than 2 godparents.
