Gabriel at the Interprom Athletics

On 22 May 2024 Prince Gabriel (20) was seen among the audience at the annual Interprom Athletics of the Royal Military Academy. 

During this sports meeting the best sportsman or sportswoman in various categories is selected: cross-fit, volleyball, squash, fencing, swimming and athletics.

For the fourth time, Queen Mathilde took part in the 20 kilometers of Brussels.

Together with friends she walked the twenty kilometers. It took them 3 hours, 1 minute and 16 seconds.

Crown Prince Philippe & Princess Mathilde visited the Sint-Janscollege of Sint-Amandsberg, Ghent to get acquainted with their project "Kom eens buiten", that brings teenagers and senior citizens together over a cup of coffee.

European Commission + Womed Award 2024

Two public activities on Mathilde's agenda today.

First King Philippe & Queen Mathilde visited the European Commission, at the Berlaymont Building in Brussels.

This visit is one of the many activities the Royal Couple performs in regards to the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU. 

At 18:00 Mathilde was at Blue Point in Schaarbeek to hand out the Womed Award and the Womed Award South.
