Princess Isabella's Confirmation

Princess Isabella of Denmark (15) celebrated her confirmation today at the Fredensborg slotskirke, on the estate in Denmark where her family has one of their main residences. 

Queen Mathilde, who is one of Princess Isabella's godmothers, was present at the confirmation. She didn't stay for the festivities afterwards but returned home to Belgium.

The ceremony and festivities were private, although some images were shared and the family posed for the press.

Back at Work after COVID Infection

Queen Mathilde made her reappearance today, after having isolated a number of days because of a COVID-19 infection. 

At the Royal Palace the Queen hosted a round table with communication professionals. They discussed how to approach the general public when it comes to sustainable development.

Mathilde is an SDG advocate for the UN. 

Elisabeth Brushing up Military Skills

Last weekend Crown Princess Elisabeth (20) participated in a training camp of the Royal Military Academy at Leopoldsburg. 

As we can see on her arm, Elisabeth now holds the grade of adjudant (aide-de-camp), like the other second year students.

The Crown Princess took part in both theoretical classes and field exercises. 

Elisabeth, who left the Royal Military Academy in Brussels after one year (as planned) to join the University of Oxford, will also participate in the Military Academy's annual summer camp together with the student officers of her original promotion. 

Court added the information that Elisabeth wishes to maintain her close ties with the military, even though she's now pursuing an academic formation.

Mathilde tests Positive for COVID-19

Queen Mathilde has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and will suspend all activities this week.

So far, she's the only one in the family who's got Corona.
