Swiss Holidays & Remembering Astrid

After having spent several weeks in France, Mathilde & her family travelled to Switzerland. They are staying in Geneva.

Today Prince Gabriel (12) accompanied his father, King Philippe to the official remembrance ceremony of Queen Astrid's death, 80 years ago in Küssnacht, Switzerland.

Queen Astrid was Philippe's Swedish born grandmother and Gabriel's great grandmother.

Mathilde, Philippe and their 4 children were spotted in Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain / Rhône-Alpes) where they visited the Royal Brou Monastery.

They were accompanied by a nanny and stayed at the local Hôtel Mercure. 

A few days later Mathilde & Philippe were spotted at nearby Vonnas, where they dined at George Blanc's restaurant.

After having spent a few weeks on the Ile d'Yeu, the royal family continues their French holidays in Poitiers.

They were seen visiting the attraction park "Futuroscope" where they were given a tour by the director.
