For the 25th anniversary of Make a Wish, Queen Mathilde received ten Make a Wish children, their parents and representatives of the Foundation at the royal palace in Brussels.
Queen Mathilde watched the play "Missie" by Bruno Vanden Broecke at cultural centre Zwaneberg of Heist-op-den-Berg. The text was written by David Van Reybrouck.
Mathilde was welcomed by the Antwerp governor, Cathy Berx and by the mayor of Heist-op-den-Berg, Luc Vleugels.
Clotilde Boël acted as lady-in-waiting.
About 100 fans were waiting for her outside the theatre.
Among them a primary school practicing a play.
Author David Van Reybrouck accompanied the Queen.
After the monologue she talked to the author and the actor, and she signed the guest book.
King Philippe & Queen Mathilde visited the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France. Belgium is presiding the Ministers' Committee.
Mathilde was no longer wearing a knee brace.
King Philippe pronounced a speech at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council. Afterwards they also visited the Eurocorps where Belgian soldiers are being trained alongside their Dutch, Luxembourg, French, German, Spanish and Polish counterparts.
