As patron, Queen Mathilde visited a summer camp organized by YouthStart.

Young people who have dropped out of school and are unemployed, are given the opportunity to get an extra formation and personal support.

At the moment this group has become extra vulnerable due to unemployment caused by the consequences of the COVID-19 virus.

Prelude to the National Day 2020

Queen Mathilde & King Philippe attended the classical music concert at Bozar that traditionally takes place on the eve before the National Day.

They were accompanied of Paul Dujardin (Bozar) and his wife.

Clotilde Boël acted as Mathilde's lady-in-waiting.

This year the concert took place a week earlier than usual, probably for practical reasons because of the corona virus.
