Family: Wedding Announcement
One of queen Mathilde's family members is getting married in 2019. Blandine de Lhoneux (daughter of Mathilde's first cousin Diane d'Udekem and Benoît de Lhoneux) is engaged to Wauthier du Bus de Warnaffe.
Blandine is 23.
Wauthier is 26. He studied Business Engineering and works for KPMG Belgium.
Blandine's grandfather is Raoul d'Udekem d'Acoz, a brother of Mathilde's late father Patrick d'Udekem.

Blandine works as a GP in Eghezée.
Wauthier is team leader at Art et Ardoises, a stone roofing and carpentry company speciazed in traditional techniques and heritage sites, from Genappes.
The couple has two children: Rosalie and Alban du Bus de Warnaffe.

Queen Mathilde visited "La Famille", a special school and day centre in Koekelberg, Brussels for children suffering from brain dysfunction.

Before her engagement, this was the kind of work Mathilde did as a speech therapist.
