AI at Campus U

Queen Mathilde visited Campus U of Charleroi University today.

She was informed about how francophone universities in Belgium are introducing AI in the training of healthcare professionals. Also the ethical problems that may arise when using artificial intelligence were discussed.

And speaking of AI ... After the visit the online account Coucou Charles, that publishes satirical content on all things political in Belgium shared this funny post, obviously fake. Thomas Dermine, the mayor of Charleroi present at the meeting today published it on his facebook saying "She keeps on suprising me". Another surprise is that court's communications department contacted Dermine with the request to remove the post, which he did.
