Finals Week at Bozar

27 May 2024: Queen Mathilde attended the first evening of the finals with King Philippe. They listened to Hana Chang and Dayoon You. 

28 May 2024: Queen Mathilde & King Philippe hosted a lunch for the members of the jury at the Royal Palace.

In the evening Queen Mathilde stepped in for Prince Laurent & Princess Claire who weren't able to make it.

I wonder who Mathilde's guest was. Do you know? They were treated to recitals by Karen Su and Ruslan Talas.

29 May 2024: Queen Mathilde was present at Bozar to watch Anna Im and Elli Choi play. 

Her guest was Marie-Laure Jonet.

30 May 2024: Queen Mathilde was accompanied by her good friend, German Duchess Marie von Württemberg.

1 June 2024: Queen Elisabeth and her youngest daughter, Princess Eléonore (16) who's also a keen violinist watched the recitals of Dmytro Udovychenko and Joshua Brown.

Around 00:30 Ukranian Dmytro Udovychenko was announced as the winner of this year's edition!

4 June 2024: Queen Mathilde attended the award ceremony at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo. 

10 June 2024: Laureate Concert at Bozar.

12 June 2024: Closing Concert at Bozar. Baron Arie van Lysebeth, former chairman of the competition's jury was Mathilde's guest.
