Visit to Oudenaarde

King Philippe & Queen Mathilde made a visit to the city Oudenaarde.

First stop was sheltered workshop Aarova that employs some 400 people.

Then Philippe & Mathilde visited the Museum of Oudenaarde which houses many impressive tapestries that were made in Oudenaarde between 1400 and 1800.

Afterwards they made a walkabout on the market square where hundreds of fans were waiting for them.

Finally a reception inside the town hall with 30 invited guests concluded the visit.
