Christmas Reception 2023

Because the throne Room inside the Royal Palace is currently being renovated, the annual Christmas Concert couldn't take place this year. Instead the King & Queen opted for a Christmas Reception, in the presence of Crown Princess Elisabeth (22), Prince Emmanuel (18) and Princess Eléonore (15).

The Royal Family was awaited by award winning choir Amaranthe from Oudenaarde. 

As Prince Gabriel (20) is a boarder at the Royal Military Academy and the schoolyear isn't over yet, he couldn't make it.

Elisabeth was wearing a new dress by British brand Reiss and her mother's Carolina Herrera's earrings. Mathilde had opted for a new coat by Dries Van Noten. Eléonore was wearing her Indee top and a pair of Zara trousers.

After having greeted the singers, the family posed in front of the nativity scene.

Guests invited to the reception were personnel, volunteers and patients of social institutions that the Royal Family have visited in the course of 2023.

Among them we see Marc Herremans, who has also been on Mathilde's walks for mental health.
