Princess Elisabeth's First Portrait

The Cercle Royal Gaulois commissioned a portrait of Crown Princess Elisabeth (20), painted by Count Christian de Limburg Stirum.

Count Christian de Limburg Stirum is a well known portrait artist in noble circles. He's also the father in law of Archduchess Marie Christine de Habsbourg-Lorraine (daughter of Princess Marie-Astrid of Luxembourg, King Philippe's first cousin).

Elisabeth must have worn her mother's diamond E earrings when posing.
